MSC Enhances Trade Services from Asia, IPAK and Europe to Ethiopia and Djibouti

As part of MSC’s commitment to best serve our customers, we have enhanced our network to Djibouti and Ethiopia.

As effective immediately, all shipments from Far East, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, India and Pakistan will transship via Colombo (Sri Lanka) or Vizhinjam (India). While cargo from Red Sea, Europe, Mediterranean, USA and South America will be transhipped via King Abdullah (Saudi Arabia).

Selecting Colombo, Vizhinjam and King Abdullah as transshipment hubs for cargo from the above-mentioned regions will improve the cargo flow and ensure a better schedule reliability. Additionally, it will offer global connectivity through the MSC network to our customers in Djibouti and Ethiopia.
