16/01/2025
MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is pleased to announce that it will again take center stage at the Transpacific Maritime Conference (TPM25) in Long Beach, California. This year, for the second time, MSC’s CEO Soren Toft will participate in a live interview as part of TPM’s CEO Series, on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM PST at the Long Beach Convention Center.
In this interactive Q&A session with CNBC’s Lori Ann LaRocco, Soren Toft will explain the benefits of MSC’s soon to be launched standalone East/West network with its focus on direct port calls for customers as well as address the transformative changes impacting global shipping and trade.
This year, MSC is set to make its largest impact yet at TPM25, with an expanded presence in Room 102, featuring 18 dedicated meeting spaces. Our global team of representatives, including experts from MEDLOG and MSC Air Cargo, will be on-site to engage with customers and partners to drive the industry forward. Key to MSC’s presence this year is the company’s new unique standalone network, offering:
• 5 trades with 35 loops incorporating 7 loops for Asia North Europe, 6 loops for Asia Mediterranean, 5 loops for Asia North America West Coast, 6 loops for Asia North America East Coast and 11 loops for the Transatlantic Network.
• Optionality of weekly services via Suez with more than 1,900 direct port pairs or the Cape of Good Hope with more than 1,800 direct port pairs
Highlights of MSC’s participation include:
• Insights into MSC’s upcoming standalone East/West network launching in February 2025.
• New offerings and sustainable solutions in breakbulk, reefer, export, import, and intermodal.
• MSC’s approach and flexibility to manage geopolitical uncertainties and customer needs.
In 2025, MSC will also celebrate 40 years of operations in the USA. This milestone underscores MSC's long-standing commitment to American industry and its role as a trusted partner in global trade while working to realize sustainable shipping in our lifetime.
