LOCAL OFFICES INFORMATION

Please note that effective august 2021, it is mandatory to place bookings and send shipping instructions through our e-commerce platform myMSC.com (www.mymsc.com). For any information, please do not hesitate to contact our commercial team at uy219-commercial@msc.com.

All containers must be sealed with security seals (HSBS) according to the ISO PAT 17712 rule.

When shipment is “In Transit”, a local Uruguayan Notify (with complete contact data) is mandatory.

MSC Uruguay authorization is needed for shipments carrying used tires and used cars.

Forbidden goods: endosulfan.

Special conditions: Containers with IMO Cargo must be labelled on all sides (also cargo that according IMDG code said no label require). Should labels be missing, fines will be applied by local authorities. MSC Uruguay does not accept any extra costs for labels, labelling and/or fines.

There are special procedures for shipments for POLIOL, GLIFOSATO and CHARCOAL. Please contact our commercial team for further information.

MSC's cargo handling facilities are strategically located to ensure the efficient and timely loading of goods for export and import. We also provide cargo consolidation, loading and re-loading, packing, unpacking and cross-loading services from containers to trucks.
