Dear Customers,

Due to persistent congestion in Indian Ocean ports, and in order to improve our Australia product, MSC has decided to remove Indian Ocean calls from our Australia Express service.

To maintain our high level of global coverage, MSC will create a new NWC-MED to Indian Ocean service, which will serve the locations we are omitting from the Australia Express service.

The new NWC-MED to Indian Ocean service is equipped by 8 x 3,000 TEUs vessels, operating on a weekly sailing on the following rotation:

Le Havre – Antwerp – Fos Sur Mer – King Abdullah – Pointe Des Galets – Port Louis – Mombasa – Dar es Salaam - King Abdullah – Sines – Le Havre

In view of this, the Australia Express service will be downgraded from the current vessel size of 6,500 TEUs to 5,500 TEUs, with the following revised 13-week rotation.

London Gateway – Antwerp – Le Havre – La Spezia – Naples – Gioia Tauro – Sydney – Melbourne – Adelaide – Fremantle – Singapore – Colombo – Salalah – Djibouti – King Abdullah – Gioia Tauro – Valencia – London Gateway.

The introduction of the new service, along with revision of the Australia Express Service, will provide our customers with an improved product to the Indian Ocean and Australia from NWC and MED, with highly competitive transit times.

Both services will start from NWC during Week 09.
