Attn: customers with cargo onboard the vessel MAERSK ELBA on voyage 047W

We refer to our previous communications in respect of the fire onboard the MAERSK ELBA in December, which took place while the vessel was en route from Suez to Felixstowe.

The MAERSK ELBA was carrying cargo for MSC customers as part of our Shogun service.

MAERSK ELBA has now left Algeciras and is currently expected to arrive in Wilhelmshaven on 27 January. Maersk is arranging feeder vessels for onward carriage of cargo from Wilhelmshaven to Felixstowe, Bremerhaven and Rotterdam as per the following schedule:

Felixstowe

Bremerhaven

Rotterdam

MSC very much regrets any inconvenience arising from this incident and will do the utmost to assist MSC customers to try to ensure the matter is handled as efficiently and smoothly as possible.
